How We Work

Let's talk a bit about just how the process goes and how we'll work together. Different types of video shoots work differently of course, so we'll just go into generalities here and you can click on the menu choices for more detail into the field you're most interested in.
The first thing we'll do is have you fill in a questionaire. We have different questionaires for different types of projects, but the main thing is that in order to ensure the success of your video project, we need to know your objectives and goals and we need to know the conditions we'll be working with.
The more information we have, the better equipped we'll be to give you what you want.
In short, it all depends on preparation. I've had clients who didn't want to spend time with outlines, scripts or storyboards. On most of those occasions, the shoot ended up taking much longer than it would have otherwise, and often scenes had to be scrapped because we ran out of time and their budget didn't allow for another day.
Sure, we can fix a lot of problems like that in "post" (editing), but why plan for problems instead of planning for success?
Take outlines, scripts and storyboards seriously. We'll help you get them filled out and your project will go much more smoothly.
Our day usually begins at nine o'clock. We'll take a normal lunch break sometime between noon and one, then work til five or six. Any later and we're on "overtime". Hourly rates for overtime as well as our full-day and half-day rates are spelled out in our agreement which you can download from this website - just ask and we'll give you the link.
No matter what kind of shoot, we'll use more than one camera. Sometimes we'll use four, six or even a dozen! There is no extra charge for the extra equipment, we just like doing things right.
A video can do so much for your business - why delay? Let's get started!
